THE WHY BEHIND BUTTERFLOW™
ButterFlow™, the signature compressive fabric from Stretch Your Story (SYS), is engineered to perform under pressure. Developed and tested at the SYS Innovation Lab in Seoul, Korea, and made with LYCRA® sport fiber, the material delivers sculpting support, responsive stretch, and a naturally cool-to-the-touch feel made for life in motion.
ButterFlow™ represents a key milestone in SYS’s ongoing commitment to redefining performancewear through innovation and Korean precision engineering. The fabric was developed to meet a growing demand for apparel that performs under stress without sacrificing comfort or freedom of movement.
The development process began with a question that challenged traditional compression design:
Could true support come from the fabric itself rather than from a tight, restrictive fit?
“That question became the foundation of our entire development process,” said a fabric engineer from the SYS Innovation Lab. “We wanted to create a structure that delivers lift, hold, and control through the internal architecture of the material—not through compression alone. The result is a fabric that moves with the body while maintaining precise, built-in stability. In essence, ButterFlow™ creates stability from structure, not tension.”
Designed, engineered, made and tested in Korea, ButterFlow™ marks the next step in SYS’s journey to bring technical innovation, intentional design, and human-centered performance to the global activewear market.
